CCRA serves as the
pan-Canadian coordinating voice for cancer
research, meeting the research needs of The
Canadian Partnership Against Cancer.
CCRA has a
three-pronged mandate:

It responds to
the research needs of other Action Groups
within The Partnership by planning,
initiating and overseeing appropriate
peer-reviewed research initiatives.

It works to
coordinate cancer research, target gaps and
eliminate unnecessary overlap at a
pan-Canadian level.

It identifies,
develops and initiates large transformative
cancer research initiatives.
