Canadian Cancer Research Survey

The CCRA Canadian Cancer Research Survey (CCRS) is a comprehensive and systematic approach to collecting information on cancer research being conducted across Canada. Data are collected annually from organizations within the governmental and voluntary sectors that fund cancer research. Projects are classified on the basis of the Common Scientific Outline (CSO), a taxonomy of cancer-related research activity developed by cancer organizations in the U.S. and U.K., as well as cancer site and other classification typologies. This evidence base is used to inform individual and joint planning, and facilitate coordination between funding organizations, where appropriate.

Survey reports are available in electronic format and hardcopy. To download electronic copies, please go to Publications. To request a hardcopy of a report, please contact us.
