Tracking the Investment in Cancer Research: 2005 to 2019
Today, the CCRA released its latest report on the investment in cancer research from 2005 to 2019. A grand total of $7.4 billion was invested during this 15-year period. The fluctuating investment in major infrastructure drove peaks and valleys in the overall investment trend. Cancer researchers, however, retained their competitiveness. In recent years, Canada lost ground in terms of its cancer research investment when compared with the U.K. and the U.S. This report has an accompanying Excel file as well as dashboard tools that expand on the findings in the report.
