Recognizing Excellence & Impact: Call for Nominations for the CCRA Awards
The CCRA Awards, initiated in 2011, recognize and celebrate, on a biennial basis, individuals who have had a remarkable impact on cancer research and the cancer research community. We are seeking nominees for our four award categories: outstanding research, distinguished service, exceptional leadership, and exceptional leadership in patient involvement (see details at https://www.ccra-acrc.ca/ccra-awards/). The 2025 nomination form can be downloaded here and contains further details, including the adjudication. Nominations (including self-nominations) are due by February 13, 2025. CCRA Exceptional Leadership in Cancer Research Award to be Renamed
Effective October 9, 2024, the CCRA Advisory Board voted to modify the Exceptional Leadership in Cancer Research to the “Philip E. Branton Award for Exceptional Leadership in Cancer Research” to acknowledge and recognize Dr. Branton’s pivotal role in the creation of CCRA and his extraordinary contribution to Canada’s cancer research community.
