Community Event in Halifax on November 11
Did you know that the CCRA is offering a free, all-ages cancer awareness event to people in the Halifax and surrounding communities on the afternoon of November 11 at the Halifax Convention Centre? Featuring exhibits from many organizations, this event will offer information and resources on risk reduction, screening, treatment as well as helpful advice on life after a cancer diagnosis. Attendees can also speak one-on-one with patient advocates. A one-hour panel discussion will be moderated by Eilish Bonang, Anchor of Global News Morning, and feature researchers, Dr. Nathalie Saint-Jacques, Dr. Michael Ha, and Mr. Tom Christensen.
